Trafford Centre x Vogue – 15 Years of Fashion

To celebrate the 15-year anniversary of The Trafford Centre, Manchester, in conjunction with Vogue – we were tasked with finding pieces from present day retailers in the centre to recreate the cover looks of iconic September issues of Vogue. We curated this as a month-long exhibition hosted at the centre.

We were commissioned by Smirnoff to design and produce costumes for the dancers on their sponsored float at the London and Brighton Pride parade. Needing to withstand vigorous dance choreography, the looks had to be durable and eye catching with a carnival vibe while remaining true to the brand’s visual identity. We created ten carefully crafted, stand out costumes that were well received and attracted plenty of press interest!

‘Style Secret’ shows in shopping centres nationwide

Our mission was to put together a week-long fashion event, showcasing the latest trends for real people. We used models representing a range of dress sizes and created looks that were flattering to all shapes, male and female. We put together the production for the event from staging and sound, to staffing and booking models and dancers. We also sourced a body scanner to help women understand their true body shape. Users received a print-out as a keepsake and we were on hand to offer personal style consultations tailored for customers.
