Last month we were lucky enough to be asked to create an exhibition for Intu Trafford Centre in conjunction with Vogue, as part of their 15 year anniversary celebrations. We recreated modern day takes on the past 15 years of British Vogue September covers. Which got me thinking, if you could choose any modern day British Vogue cover look what would it be and what do the Brit cover girls themselves think?

Alexa Chung on the October 2013 cover of Vogue, looks stunning in an off-white silk evening dress with black ribbon belt by Dior Haute Couture.
One of my personal all time fave looks was her March 2010 cover, classic white shirt, black jacket and those Chanel clogs that sparked a trend for clogs galore, didn’t we all buy a variation?!
But what about the cover Star herself, what is her favourite Vogue Cover? It was March 1993, shot by Corinne Day, Kate Moss in a Chanel corset, Chung says “The ultimate waif on a cover that perfectly encapsulates that era.”

Kate Moss has graced a huge 32 Vogue covers in total. My favourite was in June 2012 wearing Versace, posing with a rope looking fierce and ready for the Olympic games that were about to commence.  See below.

With such a huge amount of covers to her name, we have to give a mention to Moss channelling one of our favourite Brit men, Bowie, in May 2003. See below.

And what about Ms Moss’ favourite cover look? Well as well as choosing the very same as Alexa (if i was her I’d probably pick one of me too!) she also favoured August 1991, which featured a high summer looking Linda Evangelista photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.
When it comes to Vogue girls, one of the most unlikely to grace the cover was Cheryl Cole. But with a total style turnaround and capturing the hearts of the nation via her X factor judging role and ditching her cheating hubby, she has now graced two covers. Here is her cover from September 2010.
Jemma’s favourite Brit cover girls include 2007 cover lovelies, Agness Dyne and Sophie Dahl.  In November 2007, Dahl wore a Louis Vuitton biker jacket and was photographed by Regan Cameron. Those signature pouting red lips and dark roots make her the ultimate brit blonde bombshell.
Agness Deyn, everyone’s favourite Yorkshire lass, was a the perfect summer cover girl, shot by Nick Knight, looking fresh and bright in June 2007.

We’d love to know your personal Vogue favourites so please leave a comment below or feel free to tweet us @bangtidystyling.
